Daisy's Gift

Daisy is my brother's girlfriend. She's the greatest. I wanted to crochet her a special gift for her birthday, which was Saturday. I started out with one scarf and had leftover yarn, so I made a second. If she wants to, she can give Eric the smaller one or keep them both for herself.

The original gift: made based on the pattern I've used for the shawls but by my own design. This was about an 8-10 hour project.

The bonus gift: made based on a pattern from a book on how to make a sampler afghan but by my own design. This was about a 3-5 hour project.


I can try to write out patterns for anyone who is interested in recreating any of my projects. I usually kind of wing it, but I'm willing to lay it down in summary or even formal pattern.
